I liked how the person at reception could see that I had a lot of luggage and that I was tired when I arrived. He immediately changed my booking to a room on the ground floor (instead of upstairs on the second floor) which was very thoughtful of him. The room was clean and comfortable.

Helpful owner let me check in early. Much better than reviews I had read. Spotless linen,very clean bathroom. Had a nice quiet fridge and a fan,much appreciated on such a hot day. Hairdryer there,everything I could need. Lovely character building. Plenty of tea/coffee making facilities. Would revisit if I'm in the area.

No nonsense place to stay. Don't expect The Ritz or any mod cons but the room is perfectly adequate and functional. Could do with a plug point bu the mirror for doing hair but everything else was perfectly fine.

I was in the chalet bungalows in the car park which were larger than expected for a single room, had a comfortable double bed and en suite with bath and piping hot water. Only a ten minute walk from town. I’d definitely stay again.

I have been to the Lismore Hotel several times. The receptionist is always pleasant and welcoming. I like that it is clean and quiet and that it's within close proximity to the town centre and the hospital. It is an ideal location for you too if you are coming to do temporary work at the nearby hospital; adequate parking and only 4 mins walk away. I also like bumping into the very friendly housekeeper. One smile from her, adds so much to my day. Thank You Team Lismore and see you again soon. The best of the best for 2022.

Really lovely, friendly staff and good size rooms. Really good value for money in a great location! We really enjoyed our stay at the Lismore. Really nice and quiet space with lots of free parking. Would highly recommend!

The room was very clean as was the bathroom. The building is a grand old accommodation house which has been modified and updated for modern needs. It provides budget accommodation and is good value and close to Banbury town.
